Reading Ranger: The Spell of a Story & Scarecrow Pete

Event Date
-
Today's topic is books can open up new worlds for you to explore using your imagination. The books will be The Spell of a Story and Scarecrow Pete. The activity will be a craft. Each week, children will be read a book and then complete an activity. All participants must have a parent or guardian with them during the program. Our program includes read-aloud stories focusing on environmentalism and conservation, read by a Forest Service Ranger and volunteers. We are proud to promote the Forest 250 initiative to inspire our younger guests to become good stewards of the land. Contact information: Kristine Cochrane, 570-296-9630
