Pike County Couple Charged with Attempted Sexual Intercourse with a Minor

A couple from Pike County has been charged after allegedly attempting to engage in sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl, according to the Pike County District Attorney’s Office. Officials say 31-year-old Cara Godbold and 31-year-old Nickolas Marrin-Youmans face charges after Godbold connected with a person she believed was 15 years old while seeking out a person to engage in sexual acts with her boyfriend, Marrin-Youmans. Detectives say Godbold also discussed recording the sex acts. The couple reportedly arranged plans to meet with the 15-year-old in Blooming Grove Township. Officials say when the couple arrived, they were intercepted by the district attorney’s office detectives and Pike County Sheriff Deputies. Both face felony charges and were remanded to the Pike County Correctional Facility.
