Kindred Spirits Arts Programs is proud to present the Dolphins String Quartet as its first concert of 2026, held in Grey Towers' beautiful Great Room. Formed at The Juilliard School and based in New York City, the Dolphins Quartet is a dynamic ensemble and composer collective dedicated to making chamber music vibrant, relevant, and deeply personal. Recognized as finalists in the Concert Artists Guild competition, they have performed at leading venues including Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall and collaborated with renowned composers such as John Corigliano and Jessie Montgomery. This talented young group will present an exciting program featuring quartets by Beethoven, Dvořák, and Schulhoff, alongside their own original work, Tales from the Great Lakes a reflection of their innovative and contemporary voice. In addition to their performances, the Dolphins are deeply engaged in education and outreach, working with programs across the U.S. and internationally, and bringing music and composition opportunities to diverse communities.
